CHILOE KAYAK - ENJOY NATURE AT THE SOUTH OF CHILE

CHILOE - MUCH MORE THAN YOU KNOW ABOUT

CHILOE has a lot of unknown places and Things to Do.

We would like to point out some of these natural spots, that are giving a new and different impulse to Chiloe.

DEAD TREE VALLEY KAYAK ADVENTURE

Chiloe Kayak at the Dead Tree Valley can be a unique experience that will make you feel transported to ancient times, surrounded only by the nature, in a pristine area at the end of the world.

All rivers in the area are affected by the ocean tides of the Pacific Ocean close by.   At Mirador de Chepu you can rent kayaks and they will tell you how to use tides in your favour while kayaking, so after 3 or 4 hours you will get back little or not tired at all!       Life Jacket and communication device provided to be in contact with base at all times, for your security.

Kayak at dawn is a great.  Ask for camping facilities for early kayaking.

KAYAK AT DAWN

Kayak at dawn can be an overwhelming experience, surrounded by the morning mist that covers Chepu Wetlands and hearing all the birds singing, while the sun starts to come up.  FYI the large picture at the beginning of this page was taken at dawn by Pascal from France.

Camping at Mirador de Chepu is available for early kayaking.  At your return you can download your camera and get your pictures in a CD.
